Debt Free
Have you ever listened to Dave Ramsey. People call in and yell, “We're debt free.” For most of these people, getting out of debt was a real struggle that took commitment and intensity. When they call in, they give hope to other people that a debt free life is possible.
If you are debt free, you can live like nobody else. You can have the freedom to do what you want with your life. Debt is a burden that limits your options. There are so many people that are slaves to their debt.
Imagine carrying a large load of boulders in your backpack up a steep hill. Then, one day someone comes along and takes the backpack off and carries it for you. You immediately feel relief. Now, instead of barely trudging down the path, you might explore the surroundings and have a lot more fun. That's what getting out of debt is all about, feeling free.
